About Us

SLAWD PETERS Engineering was founded by Elder Okon J. Obot in 1970. We are a leading engineering springboard specializing in procurement, design, manufacturing, NDT, corrosion control, pipeline maintenance, training, welding, and general metal fabrication. Our active technical school, located in Etinan, Akwa Ibom State, provides a solid foundation in skills acquisition. We manufacture agro-based machines and offer full millwright services, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in sites such as factories, production plants, and recreational facilities. Additionally, we specialize in planning and constructing mills, setting up machinery, and providing hands-on training in their operation. Furthermore, we are committed to training a new generation of craftsmen in the listed trades and professions, with a strong emphasis on on-the-job training supplemented by classroom instruction. In 2020, we proudly celebrated 50 years of engineering excellence as a company, institution, and training establishment, with over forty-four thousand (44,000) skilled tradesmen trained.

Services

CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
We specialize in the construction of houseboats of various sizes, as well as filling stations of different capacities. Our expertise includes the fabrication and installation of process piping and plants, storage vessel (tank) construction and erection, structural steel construction, pipeline laying, flow station and platform upgrades, and corrosion control through blasting and the application of protective coatings.

PROCUREMENT SERVICE
We specialize in the procurement of engineering spare parts, oil and gas industrial tools and materials, equipment and barges, blasting and painting consumables, and earth-moving equipment.

RECRUITMENT SERVICES
We provide technical specialists at all levels on a contract or project basis, tailored to sector-specific expertise. Our services include salary compensation and incentive planning, employee and trainer performance evaluation, as well as employee motivation and mentoring programs.

MAINTENANCE SERVICES
We specialize in equipment procurement and repairs, training, inspection, and certification. Our expertise includes disassembly, reassembly, and installation of equipment, engine diagnostics and repairs, as well as integrity testing.
